Climbing the cliff side panicing as the molten lava consumes the earth. Fearing I will not make it in time and the trail is seeming unending.  I push on to get to my safety, sweat dripping from me, panic racing thru me. the ground is breaking faster then i can run , leaping the firey rivers as they are formed before my eyes. Not much further I can see the giant tree along the cliff side I am racing to it faster as i see it becomes clearer.

Next to the tree I am standing now, reaching for the lowest bracnch so that i can climb this mighty tree and survive this horrible day. I begin to climb, the heat is unbearable the lava flows so quickly as it drops over the cliff side I am starting to feel safe. This ancient tree has been standing for hundreds of years, scars all over the bark showing it has withstood so many natural trials. I grab higher to a branch to bring me close to the top. Snap the branch breaks i am falling from the tree grabbing the other branches trying to stay alive. A loud sound erupts the cliffside is breaking away , the tree is shaking fiercely as I try and hold on tightly. Another crack and my beautiful ancient tree has split in half dorpping me as the cliff side once broke a way. All I see before me is riveres of lava opening up more to engulf me. I fall to my death.

Wake up gasping for air, this was another nightmare, one of many I have had most of my life. I am glad to know that dieing in a dream does not mean death in real life as so many has told me in my past. I have had this dream since I was 4 years ols. what amazes me is that I am the age that I am when I have the dream. When I was 4 I had this dream the first time that I recall and in the dream I was 4 years old and I was really trying to out run the lava. I have died every time. I am trying to understand it. One aspect I see is that my whole life whenever I get to a point where I feel like I am secure and things are starting to go good something drastic comes and throws me backwords. I feel this nightmare is more of a vision that my sturdy ground gets ripped out from beneath me every time I start to feel safe. I am now trying to have this dream at night thinking if there is someway I can change the out come maybe my life will start to go on track and stay on track. Maybe just once i will get the job of my dreams and I wont get laid off from it. I can keep the man I have fallen for and no one I love will end up in the hospital or die. I know death is inevitable , last year 12 people I know died I made it to 9 of the funeral services , this year I was laid off from a job I really enjoyed and wanted a future with. That is how my my whole life works, it goes right long enough to feel safe then it drops out from under me. I cant keep from thinking if I can change my dream and the out come and live thru that firey mess maybe then I can start to have a real life that I feel secure in.

Like I said this is one of many regular nightmares I have had thru life and i am taking them on one at a time. This one I started with because it is the oldest. and I still have it at least once a week . The others I am still deciphering but I will be posting them as well to see if I can make sense out of them.

I cant believe that a nightmare is just a bad dream especially if it repeats I think there is a message in them. Oh I do believe that we do just have a bad dream from time to time but I dont think they repeat unless they are trying to tell you something.
